It's the first snowfall of the New Year. Over 4 inches today, with more predicted for the overnight. Sean was able to work from home today, so we didn't have to worry about him on the roads. Around 5, we headed out for Brooklyns' first sled riding experience. A few rides down each with her (which we think she enjoyed-not a peep out of her) before stopping to taste the snow. One taste was enough as it got a "no" response when I brought it towards her lips a second time.
We came in, had a nice warm apple with cinnamon & BAM! an allergic reaction. Hmmm....we're still trying to figure this one out since she's had both before without issue. The 'ol Internet has mentioned something about the more ripe the apple the more allergens etc. etc. (still reading.) We head back to the Allergist in 3 wks so we'll be checking in with him on this one too. Who knew.
Catching you up from NYE.....We went to our friends' home for their annual party, where B stayed up 2 hrs past bedtime, playing with 2 other babies. Grateful she slept in a bit, & it was a late night for us.
Couples night out on the 2nd, as we caught up with my college roommate & her husband for a few hours over some great Mexican food, but lousy Karaoke bar. (must have been b/c of the UC game/Sugar Bowl)
Brooklyns' school changed locations & her teacher sent home a note saying she had the least separation anxiety of all the kids for the 1st day back after break. Hmmm.....still wondering what to make of that!! :) The new location is just as convenient & has a bigger play room & back yard area, so we're looking forward to another great year there.
******Ok, so I was asked to pause blogging for a bit so we could test out the new projector. I must admit, it is amazing!
Signing off for the night.

Looks like she has what it takes to play in Vermont - she could even live here!
But with that pretty snow there, looks like she's pretty happy in Ky. too
Thanks for the update.
