3rd Doctor appointment

Today marks 17 full weeks. With 6.1 lbs gained to date, and I feel great. I just moved up to a size 6, and can still wear 'regular' clothes, thank goodness! My belly is protruding just enough to look like I'm sticking it out! (right, Nikki!)

Mother's Day

Sean surprised me today with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Baby Kelly this morning. We also surprised my mom after breakfast & broke the news that she was about to be a grandma! The moment was classic!

Today we went for our 1st ultrasound, and we were both amazed & excited, to see just one! We also discovered we really enjoyed Valentines' Day this year, as I am officially 13 weeks along. The baby is very active, already trying to suck its thumb.

Is it one or two?

Today, we went in for our first appoint with Dr. Crawford. We were able to hear the babies' heartbeat of 154bpm, and it kept moving around so we could hear that as well! Since we didn't know our conception date for sure, they scheduled us for a dating ultrasound. Either we or the doctor was off on our guess, or he was kind enough to suggest it could be twins!! Stay tuned for the answer.....

Big News!

WE'RE EXPECTING PARENTS; what a surprise! I told Sean on St. Patrick's Day with my homemade t-shirt: "Irish baby on board." He couldn't believe it either, but we are both very excited to start our family!
