It's a ........GIRL!!

Sean & I still hadn't fully decided if we wanted to find out or not when we walked in the doctors' office but our daughter was more than happy to share the news! We read that 3 lines=girl, and a turtle shape=boy. Three lines are more than visible in the photo to the right! Everything looks good, and I was certainly excited to hear that her head is only measuring for 19wks (easier delivery!) while her little buddha belly is closer to 21 wks! That's ok; she's still full from enjoying lobster bisque, and other seafood at Put-in-Bay. ;) Overall, she is in the 85 percentile, just under 1 lb, and I have gained 9lbs to date. (20wks, 5days).

Put-In Bay

We planned our girls trip almost 1 year ago. It was so nice to have a fun getaway. Thanks girls!!! Yes, G-ma, I sported my bikini, enjoyed non-alcoholic margarita's, & (somewhat) danced to the Websters! Meanwhile, Sean & his cousin Tony spent the weekend getting the lower level primed for painting so we can move the office downstairs & make room for the nursery. Tomorrow we'll get to see if the room will have more pinks or blue in it!

20 Weeks- Halfway there!

Today marks the halfway point in my pregnancy, with the babys' crown to rump being somewhere between 5.6-6.3 inches long. Although there's not much change in the photo, there's a LOT going on inside. I felt my first kick during the opening night of Indiana Jones, and wow was it a whack! I've been feeling more movement & kicks everyday now & really starting to feel pregnant for the 1st time. I'm hoping the baby will inherit my love for soccer but Sean thinks "HE" is already practicing his baseball swing!
