Seems like so much has happened this last week. D is getting better & better with crawling, but thus far hasn't ventured beyond the living room. He'll now crawl over & up into our laps (which I am LOVING!) and then try to stand up from there. He seems like a little live wire & half the time he tries to walk like Mowgli (Jungle book.)
Last month, he had just sticking his tongue out & licking his upper lip but now he's realized he can say LALALALA & he's thinking he's a big shot now! He'll usually glance over to see if he has his big sister's approval & then they just crack up laughing. She's calling him Dilly lately, and saying she's going to go play with him....which translates into 'I'm going to swipe what D has & give him something I'm less interested in.'
I think tonight I read Dora Friendship Day for the 100th time just this summer. This past week, she's been heading out each night to play with Lexi our neighbor, on the swing set or chalking in the driveway. Cathy drew a hop scotch & it's pretty cute watching them try to hop. I'm surprised she hasn't turned red this week as she's likely ate 50+ little tomatoes right off the vine. We also went for a walk down to lake & I mentioned the foreclosure house finally sold. "ohhhhh, Santa Clause must be movin' in!" Still wonderin' why his name came up!
